I think it's important to remember these are not superheroes. They do not have bionic bodies which never break down. We could all do the things they do (which by the way, they don't view as that odd) given the right circumstances and knowledge. But it is just so god damn hard in the world most people live in today.

@terrapatra The Tarahumara run because they love to do it. They really don't care about winning, it's more of a social event. They are the true champions, because they don't need to finish first to 'win' at life. Read Born to Run, its an amazing book.
